Growing up, Tato Martirossian (Tato Schrijft) turned into somewhat of a language nerd, studying language sciences and Arabic. Could it be her multicultural experiences that have inspired her? Nevertheless, her love for language has grown into the project "Etymolove".
Etymolove is a blog about the etymologic origin of Dutch words that speak to the imagination, explained in a sweet and simple way. For every story I made an illustration that is equally sweet and simple, and plays with the meaning of these Dutch words.
