Startup Schmartup was an event organised by student entrepreneurs association Lugus, where cool people share their adventures about starting a business. Don't expect glossy success stories, though. Startup Schmartup is about failing miserably and trying to learn something from it!
To date, there have been two installments of Startup Schmartup (two-and-a-half if you count the online corona version of the second event). For both events I was responsible for the art direction and designs. These images were shared on social media and used in print: program books, room decoration and so on.
For the second event, the organisation settled on the idea of talking about BoBo's, which stands for Borders and Bottlenecks. I turned the BoBo into a boss-like game character - because entrepreneurship is kind of like a game with rules and challenges, right? How to deal with those kind of limitations when starting a business?
